World Cup 2018

Tiarnan Logue’s Argentina and Noah Hunter’s Germany are the early pacesetters in this year’s World Cup, currently taking place every Friday in Campsie Indoor Football.

With both teams having secured maximum points from their opening three games the signs look ominous for the other teams participating.

Gerald McCormick’s Spain and Cathal Deery’s Spain already find themselves five points behind the leaders with Thomas McCloskey’s Brazil a further point behind.

Callum Bradley’s England team have a bit of catching up to do as they remain pointless and bottom of the table after their opening round of matches.

However, things can change very quickly and this week’s matches see the top two teams clash not once but twice, so the incentive is there for the chasing teams to reduce the gap between themselves and the leaders.

Action resumes on Friday 16th at 3.00pm.
