Shared Education- A group of Primary 4 pupils will visit Eglinton Primary School on Monday afternoons for six weeks of an art and craft programme. Please collect pupils from Eglinton P.S. at 4:15 p.m.

Payments to School – Every child will be issued with a letter about payments to the school regarding services provided. If you receive a payment request that you disagree with, please contact the principal if you require further clarification on the amount due. NB If you have paid for the bus for the time it has been off the road this month please deduct from February’s payment.

Children walking home – Pupils walking home from school should be discouraged from attending the Maxol garage unless accompanied by an adult for a couple of safety reasons. Firstly, the forecourt that they have to cross can be very busy at that time of the day and secondly, as a result of their visit many children are missing the crossing patrol on the main road which finishes at 3:30p.m.

School App! -The school has invested in a new App that will be up and running in the coming weeks. The App can be downloaded onto any mobile device (Within reason, not the first Nokia out!) or tablet. It will be used as our new messaging service and notice board and will provide parents with an up to date calendar which issues reminders etc. There will be various areas accessed through the App, our web page, Facebook etc. In time parents may even opt out of receiving a weekly note as everything can be accessed through the App! We are looking forward to the launch.

Swimming Lessons All pupils from P4-P7 will have an opportunity to attend swimming lessons during the next few months. P4-P6 pupils have already received a separate note and will attend The White Horse Leisure Centre on Tuesdays beginning 23rd Jan. P7 pupils will attend lessons in Roe Valley Leisure beginning Wednesday and Thursday 24th and 25th and will receive a note tomorrow.

Faughanvale GAA– Primary programme continues Friday 6:15-7:00 p.m.at the Vale Centre.
